Day off at The Photography Show at NEC, Birmingham, West Midlands
Hello. Today was a very energetic, fun and busy day. Not a wedding day – somewhere in the West Midlands. I spent all day at NEC, on the biggest photography show in the UK in Birmingham, West Midlands.
100’s of exhibitors from the photography industry. 1000’s of visitors and even more deals available only on the show. Besides this, all big photography brands have organized many live shows. We could see photographers in action, presenting many different techniques, and telling great stories. That was the only small part of it. If you live nearby and you love photography the same as me, come on the show and enjoy it.
What your local wedding photographer based in West Midlands was doing at the show.
Well, for MK Wedding Photography it was another opportunity to talk to one from my suppliers. The supplier who creates for my wedding couples amazing, quality photo albums – Nphoto. At this point, I’d like to say thank you for Damian who has presented me with some new products which will enrich my sample collection in the nearest future. So, my future wedding couples will have more options to enrich their wedding photo stories.

MK Wedding Photography on Godox stand.
2 years ago I had a pleasure to test first products from Godox. Soon after that, I have moved from Nikon lighting system to Godox, and I’m still with them. Today I was able to play with new outdoor flashes from AD series and possibly I will become an owner of minimum one of them. What does it mean for my wedding couples? It means more great natural wedding photos, more creative photos in more challenging condition. I look forward to it. It may give nice fun and stunning results. We will see soon.Nikon. Everybody is aware of new mirrorless cameras from Nikon – Z-series. smaller than pro-DSLRs and possibly better in some conditions. I haven’t tested
z-serries cameras today, however, in the next couple of weeks I will be using Z-6 and I will share my opinion about it. 2 days ago Nikon has announced a software update for Z series camera which will affect autofocus mode. Nikon will add “eye focus” – like in Sony. I can’t wait.
